D2D trash talk and draft comments thread

Is there any interest in 12 managers setting up a 12 team daily league (on the side) with our current rosters? It may give some insight as to what we have after the supplemental draft or just for the halibut. Again, just gauging interest.

I never saw it, was curious about those daily leagues.

I am playing in one of those leagues. It is interesting to watch cards change on a regular basis. I have to warn you, all cards start the season with a projection of how they will do based on prior performance. It usually takes a while for
those cards to transform into a card that represents what the player is actually doing during the season. For example,
a relief pitcher who was just called up yesterday and just threw an inning of no hit relief will not, have a card with no hits and walks on it. In fact, he might have to throw 10-15 innings before his card is usable.

In addition, while I have a better handle on how players are doing during the season than I do regularly, those cards will
look very little like the cards that come out next year. (due to the opening projection)

Your teams have to be deep and you have to check regularly, that also makes it fun. I hope I have helped.

When are we kicking of season 2??

not for a while. I will send out an email with a couple options. The initial rules never specifically stated when we want season 2 to begin. So I figured I'd send out a couple options and we could vote on it.

Hi all,

been a lil while. sent an email out to everyone today which describes some of the things I've done on the google doc to prepare for season 2 and to have a little fun with league records/accomplishments.

anyway, make sure you read my email and send me a vote on one of the three options in the email for when to start up the second season of the 2015 set.

if you want to discuss the options etc....do so in this thread. but send me an email with your vote officially (added this to post later)
