Didn't Dick Green actually make three in one inning of WS in...'73?...'74?...Charlie Finly had Dick Williams remove him from the game

I don't know, but my starting pitcher Messersmith just gave up 5 HRs and Tom Hall in relief gave up 5 more last night! Ugggh...

Dick Green was the defensive hero of the 1974 Series. Actually it was Mike Andrews who made 2 errors in one inning against the Mets in the 1973 Series. Finley ordered him benched and forced him to state he was injured and removed from the roster. Never played another MLB game.
