Congratulations to Lee300 and his Flatbush Sledgehammers for winning the 2016 Mystery Tournament, beating out Rube's Complete Mystery in a 5 game World Series. It was shades of the 72 Dolphins as the Sledgehammers won the championships in the 60s, 80s, and 90s en route to finishing 1st in the qualifying tournament. In the finals, the Sledgehammers had the best record (92-70) as their dominant pitching made up for their 10th ranked scoring. Interestingly, 3 of the playoff teams played in pitcher's ballparks. The Sledgehammer's Denny McLain pitched a no-hitter in Game 1 of the final's World Series. Way to go Lee!
See you next year.
