Learning to edit spreadsheets as Commish

Guys, I am willing to toss my hat in the ring as a Commish IF I can learn how to edit the league roster/spreadsheet in a satisfactory manner. In that vein I have started this thread in hopes of someone listing all the steps in detail to implement said spreadsheet. A visual instruction video would be ideal. But failing that please list all the steps you take as Commissioner of your own Keeper league to get one running and maintaining it. Assume I know NOTHING because it's TRUE.
