We definitely need to wait for new cards to begin the draft. New cards for Runnels, Adcock might change a few draft picks.

Each manager will select one player carded to his franchise who began MLB play during the years 1950-1954. This player must be carded to your franchise and will be designated your Franchise Player.
Any players carded to more than one team will be assigned to the team that holds the highest $$ card, unless otherwise assigned.

GOLDEN AGE PROCEDURE FOR THIS LEAGUE:
A manager may select TWO Franchise Players ONCE through Season #8 and TWO times from Season #9 to Season #17 (CANNOT USE THIS OPTION IN CONSECUTIVE SEASONS---8 & 9 DO NOT COUNT AS CONSECUTIVE SEASONS).
Due to the Commissioner's decision that PJMB's Athletics and George barnard's Senators have already missed their window for any good Golden Age options through Season #8, I will allow those two managers to receive a supplemental pick AFTER the FIRST ROUND of ONE DRAFT from Season #4-Season #8. They must announce this decision BEFORE the draft begins in which they intend to use the pick.

If it's up to me, I say we press on regardless of the new cards.

If we had an exact date for the adds, that would be nice. But, although it would be helpful for many of my teams in other leagues to wait, that's just hard luck. We'll just have to add them later.

Also, how soon would Andy be able to add them to existing player sets? Or, does he have to create new ones?

Press on if you want, but I won't be here for the next week and I haven't had time to come up with proxies. Next time I check in will be the 9th.

Though it would have been nice to know what Runnels card looked like, just give me Killebrew.

I'm predicting Runnels will be like the 6m Keith Hernandez offensively, but without the good defense, so around 4.5m maybe? Unfortunately, I don't think his 2b defense will be particularly usable, though I don't know that for sure.

I feel like by the time we finish the draft for this league, the new cards will be available.

Looking at my 58 season,,,and if strat duplicates...Runnels a 4 at 2b and a 3 at 1b...with the potential for a ton of dps and no clutch...basically weak............but better then current card
