There will be some very interesting dynamics in the East, with opposing strategies, and to some extent, opposing handedness effects. Could be some big differences between home and road records! It will make it very interesting to play out! :)

I didn't have anything like a strategy (and I doubt you can have one with 22 picks between your picks). Picked an unleashed player first beacause I won't get that opportunity often and because I could afford him in a 100mil league. Then I just sat down and meditated until my next picks came up. Meditated about the fact that time has no significance for us playing SOM, about who am I, who are you, where will we go to and where the heck are we coming from ...the very most important questions of mankind, you know. Every now and then the mail disturbed my meditation, i made a pick or two (mostly two) and happily went back into my own nirwana.

By the way, anyone want to trade for ..mmh, what was the name of the guy destined to man 2nd base before I picked Kinsler ....

I felt the same way. Picking in the 2 spot was not fun. Since my division is loaded with power guys I went with pitchers who are vulnerable to steals and/or wild pitches. I have good speed / baserunning /clutch, but getting guys on will be a problem.

I'm looking forward to Geoff's attempts to use his $18 mil. I took a look at my pitching in his park vs. those hitters - GULP!

Since you guys have 41 seasons of experience at this on me, I'll reserve my analysis and prognostication until later. One philosophy I live by, is to never underestimate the power of hindsight.

Spider - ^^^^ Yep, it's definitely going to be an interesting place, that Miller Park. Going cheap on SPs should be interesting!

I couldn't resist the 4 SP's that were on the table for me, i ended up going that route after being unable to decide what hitters to take with my first 4 picks..Im curious to see how Colabello does in my park, I wanted at least one slugger on my team for the more slugger friendly parks, Collie will be DH and probably bat cleanup. My team had me feeling a bit schizo as the draft progressed..i was very happy to get Altuve when i did, he may not reach his card value but should certainly surpass his round value...i kept looking at Panik beginning in the early rounds but that 4 chance injury at 7M kept me away, same thing with Stanton, too much moolah with too much injury plus once i went pitcher happy i kept my fingers crossed that Colabello would make it to me in the very late rounds, which he did.

First off, that's gotta be the fastest NLD in history! We did it in under a week I think. Jeep, you *must* be happy. ;) Great work guys.

Waiting on Hawk to fill the East. Central, please be ready to load. Let's keep this moving boys!

Comments on the comments above:
Doug and GB opposite approaches. Should be interesting.

GB, you *will* hit a lot of HRs. I'm just guessing, but I think you''ll lead the league in HRs. ;) That said, Hawk is no slouch and Dale and Stones have their share of BPHRs.

Spider, at least your SPs don't have a lot of bphrs

Big A. Nice post. LOL   8-) Where you trying to say you picked the "Wong" guy???? :D :P

Jeep is an interesting team where the SPs are better than the RPs, even adjusted for IP. Don't see that very often. Looks like a pretty tough team to me.

As for us, I started off thinking we could go with a power team, but missed on Bradley so, that disappeared. Now were' sort of a speed/hit/D/OK pitching team. Really wanted to get a 1 at SS, but you guys took them all before I could get there.
