The Negro League Stars are not available until waivers with the exception of the few that actually played in a Major League Baseball game and even then they must be eligible for your franchise.

Once we have the first draft your roster may have a couple Negro League cards placed there by HAL, each team should release into free agency the Negro League card with the highest salary first and any remaining Negro League cards on your roster should be released when acquiring free agents during the waiver process which occurs two days after original draft at 5:00 PM ET.

Name your NeL cards as player to be released several times to be certain that that they dropped from your roster. The most important detail is to have all Negro League cards removed from your roster during waivers and not after waivers, you can't hold a valuable card, wait to release after waivers, and then pick them up again immediately.

The waiver draft will allow everyone the opportunity to pick up Negro League Stars first by their clubs waiver selections and then any remaining cards on a first come first served basis.
