Where Do I put Jack Hiatt in my Lineup??

PostWed Aug 31, 2016 11:31 am

I have Hiatt's 70 card, with a .401 OBP. Tempted to set him leadoff, but he is so slow. I also have Pinson (w/ a .370 OBP) and Carew who normally I would hit # 1/2. If I do that, where do I hit Hiatt?
I see that in 71 the Astros hit him 6-8th, but I hate to waste his OBP to a 8th/Pitcher behind him??

I hit him #1 off that card one season. He's not going to "Walk" anyone in down in the lineup. No power so at best he's a 2 hitter. I figured if my 2-3-4 hitters can't get him home they are the problem.

He did ok, but those extra at bats did mean extra injuries.

That's been my strategy.... But, it takes 3 hits behind him to get him home.....!!
