question for the group especially vets: joined a theme league, but NOT with people I'm familiar with...PRE WWII FRANCHISE. I got philadelphia a's with 8th pick, PRIMARILY because of jimmy foxx. rules clearly state on signup, highest priced card owns rights to players. so naturally, boston snatched not only foxx, but lefty grove's lower priced red sox cards in autodraft. we've tried everything to get "mintyfresh63"'s attention, pm, paging on boards etc. no show with league set to start tonight. som on holiday, no response to request from me and commish to move foxx and grove to my team (crazy thing is he left dutch leonard and tris speaker off his roster, and he owns them) so....
do you think STRAT will eventually fix this? since it clearly is not gonna happen before first pitch of opening series, ive, I think justifiably, proposed I play josh gibson UNTIL I get jimmy foxx...and a 9.18 million dollar lefty sp replacement until I get grove. can't afford to have a 13m dollar cleanup hitter missing when division could come down to game or two.
