JUST WONDERING...

Can we start the process again for selecting cards?

We need to strike while the fire is hot.

Or we can sit around and watch Strat add another useless single season.

Absolutely! I've slow played my analysis of the last ad, i'll publish that in the next few days. But regardless of that review and what it might or might not show us, I'd encourage the debates and conversations to continue within the franchise and ERA forums. We can then decide over the next few weeks what our focus should be for the next ad.

It will be a 25 card ad this time.

Cheers

Since Expansion Players were by far the preponderance of the new adds, why not a PRE/POST add, with us using many of the card ideas from the last vote? There were many good adds in there that DIDNT get voted in this time around.

There are some expansion era players I'd like to see, so how about just limiting it to NO ACTIVE players? Seems this is a area we don't need any more right now.

Still campaigning for some Rays to be added (up to 2 whole cards now!)...otherwise I'd be fine with no more active players at this time...

2003 Marlins -- Team of destiny that the multipersonality order that is nels52 looooooved. .300 hitting, bullet proof, 65 steal Juan Pierre. Perplexing. ALot of Hall of Really Good Guys who have retired that don't have cards: Derek Lee gold glove 30/30 guy, Pierre, Mike Lowell with a destructive and deserved 4L card or something, DIFFERENT DIMENSION PUDGE RODRIGUEZ, My fave, Luis Castillo, putting up a .314 GG year. The kids, Dontrelle and Beckett likely having unique non(*) cards, vets like Penny, Pavano, Redman with servicable cards. Likely dominant? Uggith Urbina who was always a conondrum in the single season game. ROOKIE MIGUEL CABRERA with Pop!

2007 Rockies -- The NL champs, that after waiting out Boston in the snow, would be sank in short order despite Troy Tulowitzki's athletic face prowess in his 24-homerun rookie season. Todd Helton with the most deserved .434 OBP season ever, with an intriguing mere 17 homers. Garret Atkins,Brad Hawpe and Ryan Spilabagabooaborgs show up with surely good hitting seasons and Willy Taveras' career .320 year at Coors. MATT HOLLIDAY Bunch of pitchers. Desperate in need of fill out franchise.

1996 Indians -- Most satisfying season for that teams' late 90s Juggernaut. New Manny (though '04 Red Sox may compete for that honor), Vizquel (rejoice), Albert Belle and a .322/.407 Julio Franco at the spry age of 37. This team would add about the deepest hitting bench eva. Brian Giles, Mike Cameron, Jeremy Burnitz, Jeff Kent, with seasons to rival their famous ones, and a super interesting amazing hitter in Seitzer. No real pitchers to note--------we already havve 1996 Thome and 1996 Lofton------------

2008 Rays -- Iconic Pennant winning team that defined/forecasted a new era of post-bomber ball. First real legit Tampa team and first year of rebrand "Rays". Rookie Evan Longoria who has no card, 31 homer reasonable Carlos Pena, Cliff Floyd! Carl Crawford on his worst behavior, and the peak insano-reflective good? B.J/Malvin Upton. .383 OBp......Jame Shields, Matt Garza show up and a K prone Scott Kazmir season for the 5man staffs. Iconic bullpen featuring the problematically named Grant Balfour.

2002 Moneyball A's always seemed a natural fit.

2004 Carlos Beltran - card him to both HOU and KC
2004-2009 Mark Teixeira year
2004 Adam Dunn! At least give the old retired boy a fair memory---coming from a white sox fan. he was something
2004 Bobby Abreu - Honest to god, just the year I've always wanted, then again I want more Beltre card's and we have his blasted '04 season which I'm errgh about. Lotta '04 :)I really liked that '04 Houston team and Red Sox like I said, so '04 Brad Lidge

I always vote best cards no matter what year it is.

We need relief pitching and more starting pitching.
