Max innings pitched setting

PostSat Sep 10, 2016 7:46 pm

I set Vuckovich at 6 innings max, but in his three starts he has gone 8, 9, and 9 innings. Is the setting just ignored? Please help me understand.

Thanks!

Could be that your pen was used up, tired max; could be the way you set your bullpen choices; could be your pen is simply lousy; or could be another mystery courtesy of Hal.

A link yo the team might help.

If you're using an F setting, that would supersede the max 6

Settings are F0 quick hook and max IP of 6. He did another 8 inning game. Relievers have 3, 4, and 5 total innings after 18 games. I am totally baffled.

F0 means completely fatigued. F9 is completely rested. If you want him six inning max, remove the F setting

If you leave a guy in below F5 or so, he's going to get creamed once in a while, although mercifully once he gets below about F7 the number plummets.
