Nope. Only carded between 21-50, unless I made an exception on the rosters page.
However, this will be solved when Strat creates the Player Pool. Hippo just won't be there, so no danger of having an ineligible guy.

Ok. So the card must fall between the time frame unless stated otherwise. Correct

Example-Jimmie Foxx
Foxx is carded to and Assigned to the Philly A's. He also has a Red Sox card, and also played for the Cubs and Phillies during 1921-1950. When the A's are rotated out, the Red Sox may add Foxx to their Autodraft list because he has a Red Sox card as well. If both A's AND Red Sox are rotated out, the Cubs and Phillies may place him on their Autodraft list.
And yes, if A's are rotated out and Red Sox don't Autodraft Foxx, the Phillies or Cubs could grab him in waivers.

--Yes, there will be seasons where only one Yankees team is playing (other rotated out). In that instance, the manager of the single Yankee team has all carded Yankees as option for his Autodraft list. Those who have played this similar theme before remember that this is how we handled this before.

As I remember from previous themes...if a player is ASSIGNED to a team that is ROTATED OUT...it opens up that player to be drafted by ANY team he played for (in this case between 1921-1950) regardless if he is actually carded to that team or not. Will this rule be different in this theme...?

To quote the 8.5M theme...

"First Rule of Thumb--Draft players carded to your franchise. SECONDLY, the AutoDraft follows ASSIGNED and DO NOT AUTODRAFT players listed below, which are the exceptions, and which assign important players who are carded to more than one team for historicity and/or competitive balance.
--You ARE NOT REQUIRED to draft your ASSIGNED players, they are simply yours exclusively UNTIL the Auto-draft runs.
--There will be 12 teams "rotated out" in each season. Players carded or assigned to rotated out teams CAN BE PLACED ON YOUR DRAFT CARD.
If, for instance, the Oakland A's are rotated out of a particular season, then the Yankees, Blue Jays, Angels, Mets, Red Sox, and Dodgers could all place Rickey Henderson on their Autodraft. Of course, there may be competition for a particular player in such an instance, so draft wisely."

So...which way will we play this theme...?

Well, there was some confusion about 8.5, with some managers saying if a player is carded to a team, even if it's not the ASSIGNED team, that being carded to a team supersedes a player simply playing for a team during the particular era. In fact, the de facto ruling in 8.5m has been to let a carded relationship supersede the other team relationships.

Let's run this league as is stated in the rules. I may address this with 8.5m, but let's run THIS league as stated above.

Bob Lemon was added to the player pool, thanks. Another problem. I think someone has joined our league that had not signed up for it. AL1951-64 has joined Leaving 2 spots but 3 managers still have not joined. Warrenbob, caimrisek & Red Beards.

Working on the other issue. I've been traveling this week and not able to check things, and I misunderstood a League Mail from AL1951-64 about joining the league. He's in the AL 67-92 League, but we had already gotten 12 managers on the ILC signup. When he asked for the password yesterday, I thought he was one of the 12 and gave it to him on league mail without checking this ILC thread. My fault.....
