A suggestion I received from a couple people, and one I had considered, was splitting the Yankees into pre and post WWII for an extra franchise. Any thoughts?

That probably makes good sense.

Another question/suggestion would be why combine Padres and Angels with each other and the two shortened Dbacks and Marlins rosters with each other? Why not combine Padres with Dbacks (or Marlins) and Angels with Marlins (or Dbacks)? And then maybe also combine the Rockies with a particularly week hitting franchise. But like I said, it was just a thought or question or suggestion.

I agree on splitting the Yankees.

I'm fine with the Yankees split.

To clarify, Hornsby, eg, is only eligible for the Cardinals as that is his highest priced card, but if he is not drafted by the person who took the Cardinals hitters, he is a free agent in waivers? If he shows up on someone else's team in the auto -draft he would have to be dropped in waivers.
