I intentionally left the Senators and Twins separate. With the draft already 2+ rounds in, I'm concerned that combining them now may be unfair, since their combination may have changed someone's draft choice to select the Senators/Twins rather than whomever the manager may have selected. That said, if there is a groundswell of support to make that combination, we can do it.

Regarding expansion Senators - Bryce Harper is listed under the Expos dropdown, so he is an Expo. Not sure what other expansion Senators are out there - use the team dropdowns in SOM as the guideline.

I wanted some slightly different combos, groups, with a little larger list of available free agents than normal in this type of league, so that's why I kept some of the normally combined teams separate from each other.

Final decision - Twins and Senators stay separate.

I just checked, the expansion Washington Senators are already grouped with the Texas Rangers..

But I think for our draft the Rangers and Senators are also different. They are listed separately on page 1. So Tex-exp and WAS - db/post/pre

The Original Senators became the Minnesota Twins in 1961, the expansion Senators became the Texas Rangers in 1971? sometime in the early 70s...

The Montreal Expos became the Washington Nationals around 2004?

Correct - expansion Senators are with Rangers, expansion Nationals (Harper) is with Expos, and the Twinkies are their own little commune. The SOM dropdowns are the overriding guidelines unless exceptions are noted.

I don't have Rick's email, so we will be a little patient - I saw him on earlier when the group was debating the Twins/Senators question, so he may be waiting a little longer presuming that would take time to resolve. Stay tuned.

Just as a reminder - if your pick is coming up in the next 3-4 slots, send me a proxy list. I will not open until your pick arrives and will leave unopened if your pick is after mine.
