Meanwhile, his sweep puts him in the WC slot ahead of Semper on tie breakers. Semper has to play the suddenly hot Smokey while Hawk gets the slumbering GB Squad.

AND, in the Central, Falcon has finally put it to rest and clinched.

Another NLD race down to the last day! If I get swept, Hawk gets another sweep and Semper wins two, then Semper gets the WC.

The best strategy I've ever found in this game is to get your team into the weakest division. Works most every time.

Well, speaking of sweeps....Hawk, I feel bad for you. Your home field let you down down the stretch. And, Semper swept Smoke to get into the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Falcon is the second team to get into the playoffs with a sub .500 record. C2 did it in NLD15. I hate to say it, but C2 ended up winning it all in his first NLD. Sound familiar? I have to play you first too.

Of course, I'm guaranteed to be eliminated in the first round as I have the last two NLDs after posting the best record. Stoney also posted the best record three straight times and didn't win it all in any of those seasons. Not liking my chances. The karma is definitely NOT in my favor.

Anyone catch the award winners before they got erased? Just curious.

I am absolutely disappointed right now. We were in 1st for half the season and then we finish in 3rd? Well in the toughest division, but anyway ...this sucks big time!

My team finished 22-12, that stretch actually had a 4 game losing streak, take that out I played .733 ball the last 11 games. Also, we finished just 5 games out of first (amazingly). The offense finished the season on a roll, even scoring 18 runs on 24 hits in one game the final night. Stanton finished with 50 HRs. Oh, what might have been...

Congrats PO teams, well deserved.

Last 1/3 of the season my guys went 38-16, coming from 52-56. I have to hope my luck holds out.

Playoffs starting tonight. Hoping to get lucky and at least get back the first round!

Got off to a good start for a change! Not getting cocky, have to face Arrieta and Hahn tonight in his place.
