Got one of two tonight. Hopefully can finish it off in game 5. We have Gallardo versus Matz.

Spider is also up 3 to 1 versus Semper. He's got T. Ross going against Kershaw in game 5

I was fortunate to get the two wins last night - but unfortunate to lose Gordon and Joseph for the rest of the semis and Plouffe and Betts for all but game 7 of the semis!

Too bad I can't have T. Ross batting in the 9th spot. I think he'd be better than Dejesus as my DH against Kershaw. (Let's hope this reverse psychology works to get Dejesus hitting.)

Well Falcon, we got by you with a few breaks. We only had seven runners against Matz and scored four runs.

I gotta say I'm happy to finally get to the finals. Including my AD teams I had lost four straight semis!

Not sure who we're playing yet as Semper (and Kershaw) got past Spider tonight. Kuechel and Gray tomorrow.

My offence went completely south during the series. Hitting .175 and scoring only 9 runs in 5 games makes it hard to win anything.

I squeaked into the play-offs with a sub .500 record, but now that façade is over. Full marks to you and your squad, and good luck in the finals. You didn't win 95 games during the season by fluke.

Thanks Falcon. Yeah, our pitching was very good. I know the feeling, trust me, the past two NLD playoffs, my hitting was about the same as yours!

Looks like Spider's injuries and Semper's pitching have made it a one game winner take all! Lester against LIriano in Spider's Web.

Semper will be missing Wallace and Morneau while Spider will not have the services of Joseph or Gordon.

It may help to get Betts and Plouffe back for game 7 - but Semper has dominated my guys all season. I need Liriano to come through.

Well, you can't win if you don't score! Liriano pitched well and Lester was injured in the second inning, but Semper's pen continued the shutout.

Semper's staff held my guys to a slash of .228/.275/.309 for the series - only giving up 9 walks in 7 games. Another enjoyable, competitive season. JTJ and Semper should have a great finals.

Hey Spider,

Thanks. That's a tough way to lose after being up 3-1. Been there and it stinks.

Yeah, I'm a little concerned about his pitching for sure. That's a good rotation.

We'll see starting tonight!
