It is nice that this person has apologized and has seemingly tried to make things right.
I do think it looks kind lame when guys create these franchise leagues, figure what cap is best for they want, and then pick first. Of course you do not have to join, and I never do, but some are not as savvy about what they are up to...
Some will crow, well winning isn't important to me, "I just wanted to play the Yankees" (or whoever), but come on. The guys who want everyone to have a fair shot, discuss rules in advance, and have random draws to see who picks first on franchises. However, I am not saying that everyone who has not done it this way is cheating, but if you are a SOM on-line veteran you can usually tell when someone is trying to get that (unfair?) advantage...
I also agree that changing the time of the draft just looks real bad. It is hard enough to fill these leagues, especially live ones.
Also just because you have never had a problem with someone doesn't mean they are 100% on the up and up with everyone at all times.
I am not trying to cast aspersions on anyone's character, but I think warning people to pay attention to the leagues they are joining is good advice... I am sure to some guys credits are easy to come by, or maybe they don't care so much about winning. And that is totally fine, but everyone should at least have the CHANCE to be competitive, and know the rules, and times going in..... I know if I spend 20 bucks on an imaginary baseball team I least want to have a fair shot at competing.
