The "Original" 24 TKL

I realize no one can do anything about this BUT it sure would be nice if certain folk that inform us they are in a selling mode actually acknowledge our emails and PM's when we do send the trade offers. One person has been here recently that informed us of their selling ways but haven't said one word on any trade offers. Considering time is of the essence in these matters - teams that are looking to make a run - that seems rather impolite to say the least. Is that just me? Am I a whiner? Is a whiner a bad thing?

Fred there are several people that just outright ignore messages and don't even respond with a polite no thank you to trade offers. I also find it super annoying I try to contact these known owners as little as possible. I have had private conversations with others about these known offenders before. One of which is no longer in this league.
Nothing that can really be done other than no longer sending them messages or ignoring theirs when they do send one.
I do feel your pain. I have been tempted to leave some of the leagues I'm in because of it.

Is there any interest in LF Alex Gordon?

I'm thinking he'll be wanting to bounce back in a big way in 2017. He seems like a decent gamble for teams that don't have great depth and can use a roster spot for an investment piece. If you want him you can have him pretty cheap.

The trade would have to go into effect sometime after the playoffs I guess. I'm not certain how that works.

To be honest, I am not sure. If it is not discernible from the rules in the Google Doc, we will have to ask the commissioner who is The Turtle, or perhaps another past commish/vice commish knows?

My role is pretty much limited to roster updating and transaction policing

Obviously, Strat's in-season rules would dictate player movement during ongoing seasons. So if player movement is prohibited in the current Strat season, I think it would make sense to announce trades agreed to during that time after the Strat season is completed.
