Description: Choose the Yankee franchise or 1 franchise from side A, side B and side C. Yanks or Side A Teams) 1) Braves, 2) RedSox, 3) Cubs, 4) Indians, 5) Tigers, 6) Dodgers 7) Giants, 8) A's 9) Phillies, 10) Pirates, 11) Cardinals. Side B Teams 1) Orioles 2) Whitesox, 3) Reds, 4) Astros, 5) Brewers, 6) Twins, 7) Mets, 8) Padres, 9) Mariners, 10) Rangers, 11) Expos/Nats.. Side C Teams 1) Diamondbacks, 2) Rockies, 3) Royals, 4) Angels 5) Marlins, 6) Rays, 7) BlueJays, 8) Detroit Wolverines, 9) Buffalo Bisons, 10) Troy Trojians, 11) Louisville Colonels, 12) Providence Grays, Franchises can not be duplicated. You can pick any player that played a game for your franchises. Example: Roger Maris has only a Yankee card but played for the Yanks, A's, Indians, and Cardinals so those teams can pick him up. NeL players can not be drafted unless they have a card for your franchise. At waivers and FA, NEL players will be available for anyone. If you get a NeL player before waivers you must drop him. Trades are OK to try to get players to their teams. You must choose a stadium that one of your teams played in. You will have to do some research. If you have any questions please ask. You seem awfully short on rules here which in my experience leads to problems.

Didn't Roger Marris play for The Royals before coming to the Yankees?

One of the things that really bothers me about Franchise leagues is when you have to use a certain park. I guess it is just a pet peeve... Best of luck.

Those are pre-1900 teams. And Maris played for KC, but it was the A's franchise. They went on to Oakland. The Royals were an expansion team added in 1969.

I believe this is a public league that already has 8 teams filled currently. It is open in the league directory.
