GUYS...

I'm making an executive decision at this point to halt the draft.

Let's pause it right now.


It's come to my attention, that geekor accidently picked Roark AND Tanaka in both rounds.
We need to come up with a solution to the problem.
I'd like to get some input from the other managers as to what to do to correct the problem.
Unfortunately we probably won't all agree on the same solution, but we need to discuss it.

I'm thinking...

1. geekor has to release those 2 picks.
2. His punishment is he can make those 2 picks back up at the END of the draft.
3. Both Tanaka and Roark become free agents. We could run a randomizer for round 12, and the first 2 managers get first crack at them.

Another idea is for geekor to trade those pics.

I vote that we finish Round 8 (me and Paul make our picks).....and then halt. Geekor drops the 2 players and repicks. These 2 picks in the 9th round is pretty good punishment as it is.

I like the Randomizer idea.

The randomizer is like waivers. Starting in the 9th round, starting at the top of the randomizer list, when it's the manager's pick, they can either choose one of these pitchers or pick someone else. If the manager doesn't choose one of these pitchers, the next guy on the list gets that same choice. So on and so on.

True, it is pretty good punishment, but then the rest of the league is essentially blocked out of 2 more picks since Geekors repicks would likely be guys on the top of our current choices. So we'd miss out on them and just hope we win the randomized.

I thought that if we finished the 8th round, everyone will be in the same boat. Since I'm #1 in the 9th round, Geekor could effectively affect me the most. However, I still think it's fair. I think picking 2 guys after the draft is over is too much of a punishment for just an oversight by Geekor.

I sent Vis a PM because I just noticed my stupidity. As I said in that PM, 100% my fault, I take any punishment, whatever it may be.

So have at it, I deserve it for being a dumbass.

If it were Frank, he would have to drop his entire team for $.50 guys.
