A couple of contenders could still disrupt the Top 9 and bump BruceF out. jlkahn can get more points and move up and get in, Muadib1950 can still move up and get in. Sociophil can move up and get in.

In fact, while jlkahn stands in the standings at 496 points, four points behind BruceF, his/her team won the first-round series so he/she stands as we speak at 501 points and effectively holds the 9th place, with sociophil and Maudib having a shot to get in front.

Yep, the automated system just caught up. Buh Bye - Bruce....

When you think about it, 6 events - 6 long months of playing - what just 1 win can do for you. Staggering !

Sociophil's Engineers are up 3-2 in the finals to give him a legitimate shot at claiming fame.

Well, I had given up on making the playoffs until about 3 weeks ago. I didn't think you could make it with only two teams with winning records, but math proved me wrong once again.

I guess that makes the the lucky number 46. Congrats hendrix, great run to make up all that ground, I did my part by going 6-18 down the stretch.

Now I just wait for the dreaded confirmation from moose.........

1) Casey89 - based on 2 Finals
2) Sox040713 - based on 4 Playoffs
3) Rosie2167 - based on 3 Playoffs

I will have to concur with you Rosie on the situation.

Both Sox and Rosie only made 1 finals. So Casey gets #44
Sox - 4 playoffs Rosie 3 playoffs

Rosie will be first alternate if someone is not able or willing to participate or if there is a NO SHOW. As a consolation, I will REQUEST that SOM give you a credit for tying for the final spot.

Can't get any closer than this. 1 more win over 6 leagues over a long campaign.

As far as I can tell, one last result looms. Sociophil is in a Game 7 tonight to get into the top 9. After tonight, we will have our group.

MM, I can' t thank you enough for this awesome event. I had to give my wife a small little white lie about the prize to justify the time I spend staring at the computer ( I said it was a paid for weekend at any ball park in the country). The reality is I'd do it for a free strat-o-matic T-shirt.

Thanks everyone for playing. Sociophil has squeaked his way into the top 9, bumping jlkahn back to the Semi-Finals.

I have requested just this morning that SOM award credits to the Top 45 PLUS Rosie2167 and once I get confirmation that these have been awarded, I will organize a randomization of the 36 semi-finalists and we will get this going.

At the same time, the Top 9 will be polled from 1 down to 9, for their choice of event CAP and DH/NO DH -and live drafting draft position.
