To bpiela--Yes, indeed, it's an advanced league open to all. But it is quite a lot different from ordinary leagues, and requires a lot of research. You can only draft players who actually played for one of your teams (even only one game). All players you wind up with after the auto-draft who did NOT play for your team(s) must be dropped during waivers as you, again, may try to pick up only free agents who DID play for your team(s). The only free agents allowed beyond those eligible players are Negro Leaguers, who can be claimed only on waivers. If you wind up after auto-draft with a Negro Leaguer, you must drop him before waivers. If you end up with two, you must drop the most expensive one.

Read the rules carefully and, if you still want to play, sign up for one of the open teams (i.e., those teams who have no name listed at the top. Good luck!

No, they were a different team than the Philies team. It basically gives your franchise Ed Seward because he has no other franchise here, and maybe 1-2 other players?
