Boston Braves (2459-3005 W-L, 1912 - 1935, 1941 - 1952)
Boston Bees (355-406 W-L, 1936 - 1940)
Boston Rustlers (44-107 W-L, 1911)
Boston Doves (219-389 W-L, 1907 - 1910)
Boston Beaneaters (1742-1465 W-L, 1883 - 1906)
Boston Red Stockings (299-226 W-L, 1876 - 1882)

Baseball Reference is a good website to research your players and teams.

We also have a couple team names that need to be corrected, remember that you can choose any name that was associated with one of your selected franchises but they can not be combined. Here is an example, check the list above for the Braves, Atlanta Braves, Milwaukee Braves, Boston Braves, Boston Bees, Boston Rustlers, Boston Doves, Boston Beaneaters, or Boston Red Stockings. You can choose any team that played as the Braves during their history. Franchise 12 could also play as Seattle Pilots or Milwaukee Brewers.

What you listed doesn't seem right to me. Franchise 12 lists specific years next to each team. Thus, I am thinking that I cannot use those pre-1941 Boston teams, even though it is the same team historically as the Atlanta Braves...

I must say this is pretty awesome. I am having a great time trying to figure out who can be on my team.

Since we didn't make tonight's 10 p.m. EST deadline, the league won't start until Monday, Nov. 21, no matter what. I pulled my team out of the West division after the deadline (there were still two managers missing) so that I can torture myself all week by second-guessing, and tinkering with, my team. Given the rules, it's almost impossible to work out any trades to reclaim players that are yours exclusively. I'll rejoin next Friday before the deadline. It is impossible for me to be able to access the internet until three hours after waivers are completed on any day bust Sunday.

If this causes a problem for anyone, let me know and I'll rejoin sooner.

I know everyone is anxious to see their roster however we have a couple teams that need to correct their team names and possibly others details before play begins. Please read the league rules carefully below and choose your team name, managers name, and home stadium to stay in compliance with guidelines. If I see a team name that is incorrect then I am wondering if the managers completely understand the other instructions. The draft is a very important part of our Major League Baseball leagues and I want everyone to have the opportunity to do their research and rank their players to their satisfaction.

Anyone wanting to exit and work on their prospective draft rosters today and tomorrow you may do so, we have been in a bit of a rush trying to complete before Friday nights deadline and it's probably best if we give ourselves more time to make the final rankings for our clubs.

If you leave your assigned division please return in the same space that you vacated.

I really do not want to wait until Friday, I am going to allow the current managers until Sunday, November 13, at 9 PM Eastern Time to enter. If you club is not entered before Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 9:00 PM Eastern Time the franchise is once again open to the public and we must pursue other players to fill the openings. I don't want anyone to leave, especially Tom, who has been played in several of our leagues and is a terrific competitor.

1. Please enter your member name next to franchise of your choice below.

2. If you wish to change the name of your franchise to one of your minor league affiliates you may do so however the team name must be the actual name of one of your major league clubs. Here is an example: If your a Baltimore Orioles fan and prefer Baltimore Orioles in place of Boston Americans, Boston Red Sox, or St Louis Browns you may change your franchise name.

3. Please select your team's home park from the list of stadiums where home games were played during your selected franchise or affiliates team's history.

4. Your managers name should reflect a former manager of your one of your franchises.

5. Fill out your draft list with players that have played during their major league career with one or more of the teams listed in your organization, please do not select Negro League players, Negro League cards are not available until waiver selections are made with the exception if they have played a regular season game with one of the major league teams you have chosen to enter into league. If you have more than one Negro League card after draft please release the highest priced Negro League card first from your roster before any other.

6. If you have a player that is eligible for your club as well as another franchise in the league and the same is true for the player your acquiring then a trade prior to the waivers is allowed. You can not benefit from trading a player that shouldn't be on your roster and is not eligible to play on your roster, they must be released during waiver acquisitions. Remember you can not trade a player who is not eligible to play for one of your franchises even if your acquiring a player card who may be eligible.

7. I know you can only release one player before waivers however all roster discrepancies are easily corrected with the players that are not eligible for your club being listed as player to be released into free agency during the waiver process which occurs two days after draft at 5:00 PM Eastern.

8. Please understand that the Strat-O-Matic Card has only a few seasons listed and may not have all the eligible teams listed for a particular player. There are several baseball websites that will list a players career statistics and their teams history, you will have to do your homework.

9. Players injured during a series must serve the the entirety of the injury or if you choose you may release player into free agency. If your player is eligible for other teams they must acquire card showing the current injury, after injury is completed then all seasons are available.

10. The league will load teams based on division beginning with the Eastern Division, if your selection is a Central Division club you will enter league in openings 5, 6, 7, and 8, if your a Western Division club, you have to wait until slots 9, 10, 11, or 12 are available before joining league.

League: Sorry I was not around yesterday to get things kicked off on time.

Dodgers42: Sorry I am so thick headed understanding the potential player pool. Can you please answer my previous question regarding the older Atlanta Braves teams. I was interpreting it as I can only pick players that played for the teams/years listed. That long list of old Braves team names that you showed me seems like they are not allowed since those years are not listed.

Again, sorry I am having difficulties understanding this. Once I get past this, I should be fine. Thanks for your patience.
