I'll be a Royals ambassador, sure. But I don't know which card to pick for Sweeney between 2000 and 2002.

Great thanks for jumping in. the 2002 Sweeney is the one I put on the list this time around. We'll see how it does.

I nominate the 2015 Royals for the team add!

Voters clearly didn't like our candidates. We've got to get sexier!

It feels like this card addition process has rendered fans of teams like the Royals as afterthoughts past the first round.

So, while the first blush of this process appeared to be very inclusive of fan's wishes, the way the process evolved has rendered the entire production as quite exclusive.

Sorry you feel that way, not the intention at all. With the heavy inclusion of EXP players over the last two rounds it seemed like a prudent play to focus on the ERA's not as well represented. Of course the unfortunate side affect is the exclusion of those more recently added franchises.

I am truly (and maybe overly so) concerned with the natural tendency to focus on the more recent history and overlook the just as deserving players of the old days. But to your point, it's probably in this processes best interest to include something for everybody. Thanks for voicing your concerns.

For obvious reasons, I think it would be nice to have a Yordano Ventura card added. Probably his 2014, wouldn't be terrible expensive and he could be serviceable in some of the lower dollar leagues.

Royals only have 2 cards over the past 5 adds. I've carved out at least 2 spots for this franchise in 17.4, please nominate 4 or 5 players to be voted on.

Players included in the 17.3 vote but didn't make it were...
Mike Sweeney 2002
Mark Gubicza 1988

tks
