...not like I stand a chance, but why are 140/200 ....and 60 eliminated for choice in the finals (from what seems like the opinion of one or a few key players)

I would argue it takes more strategy because there is far less room for error at those caps....just hate to see the same cap played over and over again where the usual suspects probably have half a dozen teams they have perfected from playing the same cap over and over again.

Just some thoughts, let the hammering begin :)

A handful of very passionate people like 200 mil. I like 200 mil. A far greater majority dont like 200 Mil.

I had some people decide NOT TO PLAY the 200 mil event. The default autodraft league is still 80 Mil, although polls show that more people prefer 100 Mil over 80.

As I said, the 200 Mil is not representative of the standard ATG league and requires a different skillset.

The best you will get out of me is that I graciously agreed to put the 200 Mil in as a response to a request from a Barnstormers Board member, even though "it's a fact" that I get more complaints about having it than praise.

Feel free to create your own tournament for 200 Mil and see what kind of response you get. As for this tour, the 200 Mil EVENT is always going to be on the brink of being CUT from the tour itself. Oh and guess what - you dont see 200 Mil over in the Players Championship which covers the 20XX game. What do you see ? (3) 80 Mil events (1) 60 Mil and (1) 100 Mil.

You would be better off not to rock the boat and start bringing 200 mil to the forefront again as it's very existence in this tour is teetering on the edge.

I also noted that this year - 200 Mil was your best event and without it, you likely would not have made the Semi-Finals. Wonder how much this influences your opinion ? If you want to do well on this tour, your time might be better spent brushing up on drafting and playing the lower caps.

Better explanation, thanks (still think the 140 and 200 mil leagues fill up much faster than others, but admit, it usually is the same 15-20 players in them)

and last year, plus this year, i made the playoffs at 4 different caps....yes i am good at 200 and 140, but I dont suck at everything else... ;)

the 200m draft requires zero skill and 100% luck... it really should be eliminated from the tour all together... if we are going to crown a finals champ based on 200m (or even 140m) just have moose run a random number generator and assign the champ that way rather than even play the league. that's my 4 cents...

Great postseason for our Semi-Finalists. Two of them went 7 games and the other went 6. I expected no less. Next up, in order of their playoff "most wins" they will choose their draft position and league format. We have:

cristano1 - 89
Bunze0 - 88
thaibill - 84

cristano 1 is up now to select his draft position from among whats left. I will e-mail each in order and we can get the Final going. Draft spots are 10-11-12 - running totals for league format are below.

1-NYY82602 100M-NO DH 1st pick
2-MARCPELLETIER 80M-DH 2nd pick
3-labratory 80M-DH 3nd pick
4-Hank O 100-NO DH 6th pick
5-DOHowser1 100M-DH 4th pick
6-Bitters 100M-NO DH 5th pick
7-Goreds54 100M-DH 7th pick

9-chris_s 100M-DH 9th pick

11-Semifinal Champion with next most wins
12-Semifinal Champion with fewest wins

Running Total

At the moment I do not see accounts on D Dope for NYY82602 and chris_s - I am asking Adrian how to put them in or have him do it. I may have that information buried somewhere. We know that thaibill will draft 12th and we know that his selection of draft cap doesn't matter.

As soon as I have the accounts I need on Dope, I will setup the draft.

I plan to send out my official live draft cheat sheet (available earlier in the thread) by e-mail. If you don't know your DOPE password please request it in an e-mail to me or post here that you need it - it will be sent to you by e-mail. Hopefully Adrian will be prompt and have his server ready to go. It's up now that how I was able to determine that those accounts don't presently exist.

Thanks - Moose

Good afternoon Moose. I was able to find my account on DD, but site does not seem to be accepting my password. Have changed password three times now, but still not accepting any of my password changes.

Have been accessing site using my phone, so will try later on today when I can sit down at my home computer. Perhaps that will do the trick.

Thanks
Doug
