I have no problem with McCutchen's price. I am sure somewhere down the road I will play him.

I agree, Joe. The problem with Cutch at caps of $140 million and below is that you don't often want to commit that much to a lefty killer. But he has a lot to offer $140 million teams playing in League 34 or the like, since he has 64+ on-base chances against lefties anywhere. But as I said, he's competing for PT with Davis, Rogan, Puckett, and several cheaper options like Otis and Lemon for that roster spot.

I'm going to play the McCutchen card in a new 80M league, and leading him off. I see him in that role, with the big OBP and speed, and not as bad against RHP as one suspects based at a quick glance at the 4L. Of course, he's not a big power hitter, but no one should expect that from his 2013 season. It was a very good, all around 5 tools kind of season, not an explosive one in any particular category.

Not sure he's worthy of leading of against strong RHP. But he's a fabulous leadoff guy for a LH heavy team in League 34 or Penmar.

And how does his card compare with others at the price or much lower?

Anyway, since I voiced my complaints all three of my above .500 teams have lost eight of nine games. Probably just a coincidence, but I think I will not be commenting or complaining anymore...

If you wouldn't use McCutchen in a salary cap situation, or his card only has value in a particular park in a particular format it means the card is not a good (or even average) value.

I would like to occupy the same division as the people who think his card is a good value.

that can be arranged, if you sign up for the Test Drive League.

I voiced my opinion about several cards since they started adding them.

Frankly, I just don't get it.

Yeah it's nice having Cravath's best card. BUT, he's a DH who could go down for 15 games.

Ron Hunt? Guys say they'll use him. Yet, I see him in the FA pile. Who wants a 3 @ 2B? Again, a 15 gamer...

Joe Carter? Really?

The 5L Jack Morris. Otherwise known as The Batting Practice pitcher. C'mon man...

Guys seem to want to add guys from their hearts. Not from their head.

If you vote a card in, USE the damn card. Post the results. And still I see many additions NEVER being used...
