How about some more pre war players. As a matter of fact how about some players from the 1860s, when only whites could play and you got 5 balls and they hadn't invented the glove yet. I wonder why the same old timers that whine about the DH don't say, "We should have five balls to a walk, like they initially intended?"

When we played the Yearly Franchise League, we came to realize that many players were missing. Many of these absentees could be explained by a lack of at-bats or by being outliers (good or bad), but the following were not so easily dismissed:

Detroit Tigers 1909 Delahantly 253 .364 .333 Tom Jones .281/.317/.340
NewYork Giants 1911 Becker .262/.359/.355 Bridwell, ss-starter .270/.358/.316
Pittsburgh Pirates 1909 Byrne .256/.387/315 Storke =254/.302/.331
Chicago Cubs 1906 20 Beebe G=14, whip 1,26, era=2.70

Others we noticed in recent teams
Texas Rangers 1977 No Briles, Dock Ellis or Darold Knowles
NewYork Mets 1986 No Gary Carter
Oakland Athletics 1990 No Scott Sanderson
Philadelphia Phillies1977 No Tug Mcgraw

I remember the 1989 Steve Jeltz card -- great D at 2B, 3B and SS.

1959 Gil McDougald is a possibility.

Dick Schofield
Jack Wilson
Cesar Izturis
Mike Bordick
JJ Hardy

I haven't dug into any of these outside of confirming they were good gloves and had at least a few decent offensive years.

True, I was thinking overall adds outside of just this one and didn't dig all that deep before I threw those on here.

Should just add role players from 90's to present. Whatever player we bring up from 1924 will have a player who does the same thing in the 90's. The 90's player will at least be known. Rey Ordonez should have a card especially since Ray Oyler has one.
