Manager salary dumping

PostWed Dec 14, 2016 7:17 am

Heads up to any of you joining a league with some manager names you're not familiar with...I thought this manager's name (Invasor) rung a bell when I first saw it, now I think I know why:

Guy's down to a $43M payroll in an $80M league...why the hell do people like this even pay for a team? Notified SOM, hopefully they can fix before he does more damage to the league.

I just noticed it myself and thought it was a joke. Sitting there with 43 million in cash. I guess its nice to be the other three teams in his division. Maybe SOM can split up that cash between the 8 teams in the other 2 divisions :D . I guess I am lucky because this is the first time this has happened to a league that I am in. You have to wonder why these people even play the game.

Good news, SOM reversed his transactions and booted him from the league

Not my biggest reason for no longer doing random auto draft leagues anymore, but a reason nonetheless.

I don't understand what anyone would get from extreme salary dumping. Maybe he is just a kid or doesn't understand how to play the game?

In the Daily Baseball league there is the opposite problem. Managers who do not make roster changes when cards go bad. Here is a 38-124 team. Look at Huston Street's card.

The unbalanced division nearly cost me a playoff spot. I complained to SOM about getting my credit back if that happened.

He had to abandon the team. There are good players and pitchers. Probably stopped paying attention to lineups and rotations. Never saw anything like it before. :o   :?
