Falcon, what you say is true, but remember, errors only show part of what happens on the X Chart. You have 3's at SS and 2b which means you're giving up twice as many hits as a team with 2's at the same spots. In addition, you're missing out on DPs that you would normally get. I don't even account for that in the actuals (they *are* factored into the ratings) so go an compare your DP (which are, of course, also affected by the pitchers) and hit numbers. Conger is mitigated somewhat because you have some decent holds in 3/5's of your rotation, but you have given up more steals than any team in the league, Jeep is neck and neck with you, but no one else is particularly close. OSB% is only a part of the equation...

Of course you're correct, but I took advantage of having the floor to only mention stats which put my team in a favorable light. Why would I ever bring up that I'm last in DP?
Of course all this over-achieving could only be attributed to 1 of 2 things:
1. Superior managing
2. Lucky dice rolls.

However, I have to insert this. How in the heck are we 2-7 against the Quants? Well, blowing two 9th inning games last night doesn't help, but been outscored by a total of six runs and we're 0-6 in his park. It's not like AT&T is *that* different than our park. Dale, I tip my hat to you, it isn't often a team down 5 mil in the cap can top .500 in the NLD. Actually, looking it over, the only team I can beat in the Central is Hawk. Go figure.

Spider, seems that our fielding numbers are pretty close.

Falcon, it will be interesting to see what the "luck factors" say. I know for one thing that really bad X-Chart teams (or really good) can vary from their ratings. It's a question of timing I believe. The third reason you could be over-achieving is that there is a flaw in the team ratings that I do.

Looks like Dale is the luckiest team so far with breaks in the unearned runs allowed and a super one run game record (+10). Right behind him is Stoney breaks in bpsi, one run and pythag.

The unluckiest are Smokey with bad breaks in one runner and both BP stats. Followed by Doug with bad bpsi and one run games.
