Idea for New Strategies

How about a format where the Champion has the worst record ? Perhaps just American and National 6 teams each with the worst playing each other in the World Series?

I think there are people who have done this several times in the past. I do not see the allure of trying to lose but to each their own.

As a participant in this league (and one who is unfortunately doing very well :( ), I would suggest that if you decide to make a league that rewards badness that you set real parameters. The only parameters in this league were SPs and batters above 2.50 mil and relievers above 1.50 mil. Which means there are teams filled with nothing but catchers or shortstops, teams that obviously can't field a lick. I would set a minimum salary level for the whole team that you can't go below even after dropping players and make sure that every position has at least one player eligible.

I see what you are saying George. A team of catchers not much fun. You'd need a lot more rules to make a good losers league.
