Give "Avoid" some teeth

Under the hitter preferences page we are given the option of having a hitter avoid either a LHP or RHP. Well, that just doesn't work out well even if you do mark one or the other's box to avoid. as a result I wind up with James McCann hitting against RHP's after the LHP SP has been removed early on - when I could have had Pierzynski taking over for McCann vs those RH relievers the rest of the game. The "avoid" option really seems to be totally meaningless in my experience. Maybe I'm not doing something else I should be. In any event, "avoid" should mean exactly what it says. But it never does.

Those two Avoid LHP or RHP only are in effect when entering the game as a pinch hitter. They won't remove a 6R Left handed hitter when a Hard Lefty Reliever enters the game.
