Also since there seems to be so much skepticism about the league moving forward, should we just have a check in to see where we stand? If Terry is the only slot we need to fill, that shouldn't be too hard.

Guys -

I know I had a hard time keeping up with the league this year, but I really don't appreciate that Dave just told me off because he's upset with the fact that I won't accept his offer for Montgomery. We value the player differently, but as usual, Dave thinks that you're an idiot or malicious if you don't accept his offers. And, never able to remain civil, Dave wrote that I am lazy and the league almost folded because of it. Dave, you can be the most immature, mean-spirited person I know.

Again, I apologize to you all for disappearing after the last draft. I doubt the league would have folded in the offseason due to my absence, but I want you all to know that I was not being lazy.

So that all of you know why I didn't tend the sheets during the offseason...

My wife was diagnosed with MS and we are getting a divorce. Simultaneously, our dog died of cancer. This was my 2016. Dave calls it lazy, but I think most of you are mature enough to understand that it was just life becoming too much. I love this league and am excited to stay in it as a player manager rather than as commish as well. It's fun being commish, and I hope the new commish enjoys it too. But, I won't tolerate this kind of talk from anyone or about anyone.

We have all experienced hard times, and I hope you all understand that I wasn't being lazy. I'm there for you all when things are bad on you end. Please again accept my apologies for not keeping up as commish as well this last year as I had in previous years.

Grow up Peter, why don't you state the entire conversation we had by PM Peter since your such a stand-up guy and all.? Your the one who initiated the attack and I just responded. You have attacked me via PM/emails in the past. Don't think I didn't forget about those did you?

Upset, hardly, you stated Montgomery is a #1 starter, I challenged that, I made an offer of a 3rd FA, in 2018 because YOU STATED you were looking for 2018 picks (read your own posts). You stated more than half the league is on with Montgomery and I stated why hasn't he been dealt, and I answered that you over value him.

Bottom line, I made an offer, you didn't like it, move on, but you have to add more to it, so I responded back, get over yourself Peter.

Peter, I am sorry to hear you had such a trying 2016. I hope 2017 is better for you. That being said I'm sure I could make a better offer and would love for you to respond to my PM.
