I'm sure Maybin would be there except he was made a CF-3 this coming year. Going from a 2 to a 3 in CF must cost poor Maybin a bunch of $$$.

Maybin and Herrera are in the best of the rest post....Maybin at 3.23M and Herrera at 3.79M.

Not only Maybin is 3e7, he's is also +2, in cf, where arms are most important, in my opinion. Maybin will cost over 20 runs in a season compared to the best cfs (Kiermayer, Bradley), that's why I have him at dh instead.

Agreed, Maybin @ DH in a pitcher park is a nice value play in salary limit leagues, though it's been a while since I played those.

Marc, always great to get the benefit of your knowledge. Let me know if you ever feel like joining a keeper league!

What's the likelihood Geovany Soto gets carded? Unleashed?

I have Soto in a keeper league so I also have interest about him getting a regular or unleashed card.

After a little research, it shows that there are 10 catchers in the 2015 regular game with less than 100 ABs, including players with 45, 49, 56, 64, 66, and 70 ABs. Holaday is similar to Soto in stats and got carded at $3.31M with just 64 ABs.

Soto had 78 ABs. He has a chance. His .487 slugging pcg. has me hoping!!

Love his HR numbers across the board. 7.8/8 HRs vs. LHPs and 2.7/4 vs RHPs. Soto also has 3B eligibility. That helps in 24-team leagues where I have him. I'm guessing the '6' injury number makes it more likely he gets a regular card. I could be wrong.

And Kevin Ehle, great job of researching. Thank you for sharing your findings!

Carlos Santana

I thought his numbers vs RHP would be much higher...? Anyone have an explanation to this?

I might be wrong but isn't that attributable to the ballpark in Cleveland?

I'm sure some of it is but I did expect a TB of more than 35.3. Seems very weak.
