That's a pretty hard thing to coordinate, I think (although personally I love the idea).
Herding cats is the toughest thing about tour play. There are simply too many moving parts to coordinate it in any meaningful way.
One round a day is actually a pretty decent pace, but I want to emphasize "pace".
A possible solution is this: if each player will ALWAYS check in on an assigned hour, the draft will move in a fairly healthy way. If Marc started at 9am (EST), and I went at 10, and SteadyEddie at 11 and so on, by 9pm each night we will have covered a full round without all the handwringing that goes on with checking the draft every few minutes all day long and living in a state of constant sadness and disappointment.
The other benefit to something like this is being able to digest the picks and having time to reevaluate things. I knew Marc would go either Harper or Arrieta, but I was kind of leaning he would go with Harper. I was prepared when he didn't, but having some time to assess that without 11 people watching me was still preferable to the conference call method.
Just my oh two.
