PostThu Jan 26, 2017 3:01 pm

i have been playing Strat for yrs and this is my 1st shot at 365 am i reading this right there is no limits on Pitchers or Batters ,so is this right if a Batter has 50 abs and a Pitcher has say 25 ip he can play all season without limits. Thanks for any info.

Yes that is correct. There are no limits on how many AB or IP a player may have. All players have a salary to reflect how good or bad their card is without relation as to how often they played in real life.

Richard the online game is way different from the dice and card game. Ballpark homeruns are huge (# on hitters). There are threads to help new players. I suggest you read them. Most of us vets do not want to take advantage of new players.

Biggest thing to consider on those low AB and IP cards is injuries. They will come with 15 game injury risk. Though pitchers rate of injury is unrealistically low for all pitchers so I rarely even give that a thought. But injury management for position players can be tricky. Have too many of those guys and no bench can cause problems when the 15 game injury comes. But part of winning is putting the best guys on the field which often means keeping money on the field and off the bench. The better your bench guys the lesser quality your starting lineup is when you have a salary cap to consider.
