Bonds and Mac as coaches

PostFri Jan 27, 2017 10:28 am

We all have opinions on these guys in relation to PEDS. But for the moment please set that aside.

I would like to pose the question: How do you rate the job these two have done as batting coaches?

Mac briefly held the single season HR record. He has several seasons now as a hitting instructor. Bonds broke that record. We now have a full season to look at him as a hitting coach.

What impact have these two had on the players they have coached?
Have the power hitters exhibited an increase of power?
What about the non-power hitters. Are they one dimensional coaches or have they helped these guys too?

The Marlins fired Bonds after one season so they obviously weren't very impressed with his ability as a hitting coach
