I see the note that myself and someone else do not have Diamond Dope accounts - indeed I don't, and I've never really used the site at all. Do I need to create an account or take some other action? I found that message kind of unclear. Apologies if I'm missing something obvious; I just want to make sure I'm not holding up the process.

No you're fine. I have sent two e-mails to Adrian to add the accounts. I do have an e-mail with a link to ADD accounts but it doesn't work anymore. Once he adds them I will setup the draft. I'm holding off on e-mailing my cheat sheet until you can actually get on the site.

Hopefully I will hear something today. I'm more concerned with those of you who have never used the site, but I think it's fairly easy to figure out.

On the http://www.diamonddope.com/ website,
you click draft
you click add user
you enter your username (any username that is not already taken)
password is by default your username

then a screen appears where you have to change your password

It is almost the weekend. I need some entertainment. Shall we start the draft on here until dope is ready? Moose likely wouldn't object...

In case anyone hasn't been through it before, here's the steps before first pitch.

1. set up the draft on Diamond Dope and make sure everyone has their login working.
2. We conduct the draft on DD
3. We fill out our draft list on the SOM site
4. We enter our teams in the finals league
5. After all teams are entered, SOM will start the league as normal

Last year, the last of the teams didn't entered the league until Saturday, so we couldn't make any roster moves until 5PM on Super Bowl Sunday. Personally, I am busy with Super Bowl entertaining all evening, and have work on Monday. There was almost no opportunity to finalize my roster and set up the team before first pitch on Monday evening.

At a normal pace, it should only take 3 days to get through the draft and another day or two to enter the teams. I don't know why it was so slow last year (probably a combination of factors). Even with Diamond Dope rookies, we should be done by mid-week.

I would very much appreciate it if we could move the process along so that the teams are entered in the league by Friday or earlier to avoid the Super Bowl conflict. Thanks for understanding.
