Once a stadium is drafted in the live draft, it disappears forever. Like Kal Daniels. So if you had your stadium on your proxy list and someone else got to it first, it's gone. Yes, 1 specific stadium per team in the Championship. If it's important to you, grab it early.

So do I get an explanation for Daniels #1? He sucks in LF he only makes a good DH. And if you are going DH Gates Brown is significantly better than Daniels. Now how about Pineiro? He is 6R and we all know by now that Lefty teams are the most dominant. As already realized by Labratory and DOHowser and maybe even NYY. So what is the reasoning for Pineiro? Just cause Jet likes him?

That said, I've set 5 proxies to get my to #10. Vaughan was 1 and Koufax was 3. Can't believe I now have to rework my entire team around Bonds rather than Vaughan! Thanks a lot. Hopefully the next 5 picks go off the board super slow.

ahhhhhhh. barry is impossible to fit on an 80m team. but in terms of themes lefty park is by far the most dominant followed by righty park.

Daniels got a ring last year, didn't he? You surely remember. Obviously, if the league is full of lhp, his value won't be as high.
On that note, I hope people will learn from last year that if there are eight lefty-loaded teams in the league, the Finals will consist of the two lefty-crushing teams, which is exactly what happened last year.

To come back to Daniels, we played earlier a theme-league where owners were assigned to a concept: all-on-base team, all-slugging, all-lefty, etc...so there were only one all-lefty and one all-righty team. So it was a bit an artifical environment. When the season ended, Daniels by far lead the league in exceeding WAR expected from pricetag. Dimaggio was in the top 10 too.

I kind of agree with you there. The mistake that 8 teams made in the finals last year was to load their teams with lefty starting pitchers. Too many of those on too many teams is a recipe for exploitation which is what I did and won 100+ games. But, a lefty park team with Koufax and 3 righty starting pitchers and 6-7 lefty batters can't be beat (in terms of expected wins). That is a fact. And a lefty ballpark team with 1 lefty starting pitcher and Vaughan can't be beat. Now if there happen to only be a couple lefty ballpark teams in the league, one can carry 4 lefty starting pitchers and be even more dominant. The morale of the story is lefty pitchers can potentially be exploited (if there are too many of them), but there is no way to stop lefty batters.

The rationale for Daniels - as good if not better than Gates Brown in offensive production per dollar spent on him, and dramatically less double play chances. So IMO the very best cheap platoon player.

Sent an e-mail to Hank O but sometimes these things take a little while for everyone to get into place.

Thanks

lab to clarify were you hoping for the entire draft to be done by super bowl, or just the first round?
