Fragile Mantle?

Apparently I got the INJURY PRONE Mickey Mantle Mystery Card ... Oh wait, this is an ATG league not a Mystery Card league!

Mickey Mantle has been injured THREE DIFFERENT TIMES in the first 9 games of the seaons. He's been injured in each series so far.

Needless to say I've never seen that before.

3 home runs in 17 at bats ain't bad though.

It happens once in a blue moon. A few years back - maybe ATG 4 or 5 - I had the 1967 Yaz miss 31 games... was injured 12 times over the season.

i also had something crazy like that happen with a third baseman a few years ago. i think it was lindstrom. he missed something like 30+ games.
