I know that I was one of the minority who preferred to stick with the 12-team league, and I'm somewhat disappointed still because more teams means that it's going to be harder to keep my '80s Red Sox intact which I was really looking forward to.
However, Geoff couldn't have said it better:

Everybody better buckle up. I can't wait for this to start! It may establish a new standard for SOM excitement.

Checked my Yankee team. With 12 teams I had 4 starting OF - Reggie, Rickey, Winfield, and Barfield with the possibility of losing one of them. With 24 teams I have lost 2 of them and maybe I will lose the other 2.
