The ATG Card Additions link is VERY confusing - need to be streamlined somehow.

The Texas Rangers are severely NOT represented as a set, I do NOT understand the absence of 1989 Jeff Russell card. It would likely be a $4.5ish M RP and a good addition IMO.

Amen brother!!! And on that same note (Texas Rangers) how about a Mark Teixeira card for 2005! .301/43/144 Tex is still not represented in ATG!!!

Teixeira would not hit for the first third of the season if this game was really accurate.

I know this is overly simplistic, but every player available in any online league should year be available in some sort of ATG set. As the cards are available. Extending that - the players who in the mystery decade leagues, each of those 5 years should be available. Would make playing franchise only leagues much easier.

Just my opinion.

I agree! And those are the cards we need, the Michael Young cards, Andrew McCutcheon, Pete Rose at 1B, Robin Yount in LF. Why can't they add every card they have an image for? ... Plus I feel like a lot of the black players are getting stiffed.

I know this is a familiar refrain, and sounds like a broken record, but I really wish one of these player adds would focus on what's needed to adequately stock franchise leagues with enough players to make short-handed teams like the Marlins, Rays, D-Backs and Rockies on a more equal footing with more established franchises by adding more of their recent players within the past 10-15 years.

The baseball Hall of Fame has taken a similar approach recently, establishing veterans committees for certain specific eras in an effort to honor all historical periods more equally.

I think we have enough Yankees, Cardinals, Red Sox and Cubs for now, why not have a special election just for players from the newer expansion teams, or just add complete team rosters from a given year?

I couldn't agree more. We need complete team adds for the 4 newest teams and I'd love to see us use the 50-card add to get the first two in. My vote would be for the 2008 Rays and the 1997 Marlins.

Thanks,

What we are saying is, if they just took all the cards they have for all the 80s,90s, and 20XX leagues that would included many great cards from the modern franchises.

Also, the teams like the Marlins, and Mariners are never really going to be able to compete, even at the lowest caps, because the older franchises will always have more player choices at every price level...

I think a big reason for the reduced participation may have been that the polls were never 'announced' in the Stratomatic news section

I completely missed that there were polls.

Think you were not alone- not too many folks realized there was a poll up.
1. probably should announce a couple times on this forum
2. probably should have the blahg mention it

Im seeing a lot of calls for franchise stuff-- my response would be to join the folks that want all the players up, b/c its not much fun for those of us who want the high cap cards and only get a couple of playable ones.
And before you say it, yes, there are more playable ones that could be in.

Also, people are clearly not using the forums very much in general-- at least thats how it seems to me, a person, who doesn't use the forum much.
