Hey everyone,

I wanted to let everyone know that after much consideration, I've decided to retire from the league. I've had a lot of fun, but I've found over the last couple of seasons that I have less and less time to devote to it, and I haven't really been sufficiently diligent in my participation. I wanted to let you know now, hoping that gives you time to grab a replacement owner. If you can't get one in time, I could do one more draft, though my preference would be to let someone else do that.

Thanks for having me in the league -- I've really enjoyed it, and I'm sorry that I can't continue on further with you.

Charles - it is with tremendous sadness that we bid the "Blue Iguana" adieu. I would certainly hope that you would reconsider (and in that vein, I will not post this for the time being. We do not need to address this in the immediate time frame anyway due to our schedule).

You are an original, founding member of this league who predates myself. (I cannot help but hope that my stewardship of the league has not somehow led you to this decision.) Your record speaks for itself. This franchise is the all-time leader in Wins with 1879 and winning % at .552. Charles has earned 3 Wild Cards, 9 Division titles, been to 5 Finals and won 2 Championship Trophies! That is an amazing legacy!

Thank you for your participation and excellence! We will miss you!

Finally, I would like to resolve the outstanding issue regarding required drops prior to FA draft (and prior to adding a new owner). As it stands, the rules state that each owner must drop enough players so that there are 25 protected players prior to the FA draft each year, allowing for 15 draft picks. The proposal is that the number be amended to allow owners to protect up to 28 players, allowing for a minimum of 12 draft picks, though owners may drop enough players to reach a pre-draft roster of 25, allowing for up to 15 draft picks.

So, a "Yes" vote is in favor of the proposal, while a "No" vote is in favor of retaining the original roster rule. As there are only 11 current owners due to the departure of BlueIguana, I will only cast a vote in the event of a 5 - 5 tie.
