Major League Baseball 14 Ramdomizer

Blah. Same teams as 2 leagues ago. Had the best draft I could imagine and still under .500 in 3rd place. Don't think I'll do the randomizer again. I was hoping to see the last of this team combo soon. Good luck all.

Yeah, I have the same team as in MLB11, and only barely over .500 with it. But it gives me a chance to figure out how to fix the problems, if I can.

Anyone want the Det/Mon/Tor franchise? I am playing them this season. 5.92% chance of getting the same team. I just don't have that kind of luck with anything else....

I have received a couple request to change clubs, however I that it's in the best interest of the league that everyone play the teams that were chosen by the randomization. I understand that there are franchises that are not as rich in talent as others and I have tried to compensate for the differences by adding a second, third, fourth, and sometimes more teams into their groupings. We also have taken into consideration the possibility of a poor draft by reserving Negro League Stars for waiver selections. This is our fourteenth league and it's inevitable that we will manage the same clubs along the way, I am always open to suggestions to improve the competitiveness of our leagues. Maybe I am a little biased but with our base of managers and the concept of a level playing field for everyone I believe our league is among the best in Strat-O-Matic.

Sounds good. I agree this league series is excellent. We just need the last team in the east to load. Maybe we can get an auto draft in tonight. Good luck everyone!

That would be me you are waiting for. I was truly hoping not to have to play the same team we just started playing. I do appreciate that that Charles has added some new twists to the teams. The Det franchise did not change, however. I will get my team in shortly. Hell, the research is easy, since I just did it a couple weeks ago....

East is full

First, I love the league and want to thank you for running it. As an easy change, rearrange the divisions or let them be random. This would allow different match-ups and might change things up a bit. Although I personally like the higher caps, setting the cap a lower would change the line-ups quite a bit and and cause people to delve deeper into history of each franchise. The last and most drastic change would be a 12 team 12 league commitment, where each player plays each team once. Just random thoughts while I sit here waiting for dinner to finish. I agree with the 12-team,12-league suggestion. It's truly more fair and more fun. I'm in several of those leagues now and they're great.
