2016 Season Release Date.

Not trying to contradict what you guys are saying, but usually the week before the cards come out there are some signs from John on the boards. Last year, they released the unleashed hitters. The year before he posted pics of some cards. So far this year, zip, zero, nada.

Makes me think we are still 2 weeks out.

Card images with salaries can be seen now, for those interested. Use the command line below in your browser, and insert the player's card number from the 2015 set in place of the XXXXX. Some of the numbers are smaller for older players.

I think maybe March 2. I seem to remember it coming out on Thursdays. Maybe not, though.

Yes, of course Mike Montogomery will have a card in the regular game. Geekor can be a little bit thick sometimes. Just because a player wasn't in the data base yet does NOT mean he will not have a card.

Does anyone find it odd that Garcia hasn't had a blog in nearly three weeks? Maybe his next one will announce the kickoff of the new season.

It seems like the new sets are always released on a Thursday, I wonder why? Or am I wrong?

I am seriously thinking the set will be released this week. It has been released even earlier in seasons past, so I wonder what the hold up is? I guess it goes back to SOM being a very small company.
