Every player in the last 3 sets with 5 GS (Devenski had 5, not 4) has been rated a SP. Some with 70, 80, 90 IP. None had over 100 IP but I'll take your dollars for my donuts that GS trumps IP.

Interesting, the two most expensive pitchers have no *. Three of the top 10.
Toss in Uy and DeGrom and you could have a 5 man rotation with 5 of the top 20.

Target those 5 and even if you miss your consolations would be * pitchers resulting in a potentially respectable 4 man rotation fall back position. Wonder if that will result in more teams targeting 5 man instead of 4 man rotations.

That happened to me actually... tried for 5 man, so did EVERYONE except 1 guy. Ended up with Sale and Porcello instead as top 2, so now I need to change it up potentially?

I think I would just change gears and do the best 4 man I could. Nice start with the top 2. Betting if you still tried going 5 man the pickings are now slim.

Curious, if a league is using the optional advanced pitcher injuries those Kershaw and Hill cards are going to get injured more. Wonder how much that would discourage their use in such a league. With no DL the higher injury rate could kill your team. So would that make these guys unusable?

There are only 26 four man rotation guys in the set by my count. I would look at getting 3 five man rotation guys on the lower end price wise and rotate them in the last two spots .....Might have to do that

Actually, lefties are dominating the set this year. Arrieta ends up pretty high too. In case you're looking for Greinke, he didn't make the mark, which I set at 3M (he is valued 2.84).

I haven't check-proof my ratings, so mistakes could have occurred. Price was set with the 2015 parameters, so they are likely to change if wet set in the 2016 parameters, but the relative order shouldn't move us, except for extreme (9R/9L) pitchers:

Wow, not much variation with SOM pricetags...First look, only Odorizzi seems to be a bargain in a neutral park...

3 * pitchers and 3 S/R pitchers can make a nice rotation...
I had success with very unbalanced s/R pitchers mixing and matching them vs teams and using them as loogies or righthanded specialist when not starting....
