Very willing to part with my 2nd round pick for an upgrade over Ellsbury in CF.

Have we ever considered using the unleashed set?

I know last year's set had a ridiculous Parker card, but other than him, many of these other guys should have gotten normal cards.

Anyone interested in using them?

Love too but can't do it now that the draft has started. I know for a fact If Lugo been usable keyzicknwouldn't have had to worried about picking him in round two. ;-)

This is the oldest Keeper League and there are traditions we must adhere to!! ;)
I'm open to using the Unleashed Players next year. It's too late this year. We would have to vote on it. Some of the old time purists in this league may not want to change (could be a DH / no DH type of controversy).

No I realize not for this year. I just think it's something to consider.

reposting from my email:

Hey guys,

I am really in a quandary with my team. I have a decent offense & defense, but very little pitching. If I can acquire some pitching I may make a run at it, otherwise I may punt.

So here are trade lists for both scenarios, whichever scenario generates the best offers is what I will go with:

If I punt:
DH Nelson Cruz and his 40+ HR and high OB are available
SS Brendan Crawford and his $7M card are for sale
OF/DH Matt Joyce and his OB/power combo
Dexter Fowler and his prototypical leadoff card
Sandy Leon & his just-minted 6M+ C card
Andrew Toles & his killer card vs RHP & 2-range D in LF
IF Greg Garcia with extreme OB vs RHP
Jason Heyward if you want to bet on a bounceback with his new swing
SPs Tillman or Lewis ($4M range cards)

What I want in return are the usual young players or picks with an emphasis on pitching.

If I go for it:
Can offer either SS, Crawford or Corey Seager
next-year picks incl #1 in the right deal
young SPs Rodon or Ross
bounceback SP Zimmerman (looking good in ST)

In this scenario I need to get 2 stud/solid (5M plus) SPs and at least 1 stud RP.

Holler at me if you have an interest. Obviously there is a lot more on the table if I punt but I would want offers on at least half that list. If you're in my div you would be eliminating some competition! ;-)

Cheers,

Dave/Qk
