Teammates League - Filled - Drafting at ILC

I was going to sign up, but decided I couldn't commit to timely drafting--for some reason I was able to edit my post, but not delete it.

A question regarding the top 12 hitters who have multiple franchise cards. How is the franchise for that particular player determined, once drafted? For example, a player selects Barry Bonds in the first round. Bonds has cards from the Giants and the Pirates. Which of those two franchises is the manager then restricted from drafting in subsequent rounds?

I assume the manager can use whatever card he chooses for a top 12 player.

Yes, the Manager can use whatever card he chooses, but in your example if he decides to use the Bonds' Giants card, then he cannot also have Giants teammates.

Once again, you are not allowed to have a restricted player from a franchise along with a teammates selection from that franchise, unless you were "forced" to take that restricted player since there were no other alternatives.

I will request a random number generator - then we will move to ILC under the heading Teammates League for the actual draft.

per the rules on page 1 -

Random Number assignment - one the league is filled, we will request a random number sequence - to be filled by somebody not managing in the league. The sequence will determine the draft slot number of each team in the sign-up. For example, if the sequence is 7,11,2,9... then the 1st sign-up will have draft slot #7, the second sign-up will have draft slot #11, and so on.
