on a side note. I just got through to COX, my internet provider and they are having problems all across the SW of the country. people are reporting issues logging on to various commercial sites including Netflix, Amazon, etc...

just my luck that my ONLY issue is with Strat-o-matic sites....damn. anyway, I'm gonna keep checking in here thru the anonymizer site for now and hopefully it'll get fixed asap on Cox's end.

I hope anyone that votes NO loses a player every year to the unleashed set

I am going to sleep on the unleashed question. I don't always see the logic in SOM's decisions but if we use the unleashed there are still going to be questions about why player A got an unleashed card and player B got no card. It just leaves us analyzing a different line. Having said that, not sure I see the reason Toles is in and Benintendi is unleashed. Leans me to unleashed. On the other hand, don't want another Jarrett Parker. Leans me the other way. I will think some more.

Why not just unleashed minus unleashed cards over 8 mil.

I'm not try to be difficult, but I don't think a permanent abstention should change the rules. The need for eight managers agreeing hasn't changed.

If need be, why not put the voting requirement change up for a vote under existing rules. At this rate we might finish the first round by May.
