But can they pick at any time, even before their time slot, on the next day? Just curious, honestly, as much as anything.

I agree with Geoff. If someone is skipped, people picking after that person should have to wait at least until their time slot (especially in overnight cases when the clock is off).

Hey, just so you know, it's not like I'm upset. Just caught me off guard a little, and didn't make a practical difference to my pick anyway.

I saw the exchange of posts earlier this month on keepers.

I guess what we can do, maybe after the season is launched, is talk among ourselves as to whether we want to change things up for future years. I know some of the quirky things about this league were originally my suggestions, so if anything, I'm critiquing my own off the wall ideas from several years ago. I'm still really enjoying this AL only format, so I say this mainly with the idea that there might be other ways to do things that we might like to look at. Probably the best time to do it - with this league in particular - is during the year - maybe close to the beginning of the season - because of the quirky rules that we are using. (Again, I feel safe in saying this, because I am effectively questioning some of my own past ideas).

I agree. Otherwise, what is the point of time slots? Why not just say each person has 30 minutes since the last pick to make their pick or be skipped?

Time slots allow us to be able to schedule picks in with our lives, which is why I like them. But I wouldn't want to over-penalize a player for not being able to make a pick in time. Sometimes life gets in the way.

Just my 2 cents. For my part, if there are missed picks from earlier than mine and I am next in sequence to pick, I will wait until my time slot to make my selection.
