So I would like to say, who thinks he has to apologize, do so ... and then let's go forward. No need for retirements from this great group of owners.

I personally would like to apologize to myself for drafting this horse@#$% team I have assembled. I really like the pitching but I wont expect to win every game by 1-0 or 2-1 scores
For those who have been in the league for a few seasons I will have to say I am stepping aside from all drafts and letting hawk take back over the GM duties,he does a helluva lot better than I do. Joe/wineman were the thing back in the day so now it is time to unleash the 3headed monster ( hawk/hawkeye/nythawk ) when the next draft rolls along and we will be the next great front office right up there with my Cubs management. Its is going to be a very long season

LOL I doubt you're as bad as you think you are Hawk. At least you don't have 12 < .70 players on your team! ;)

Sorry Falcon, couldn't resist. Me thinks you'll be active after waivers run!

Gee, that's almost funny.

Okay, it is funny. I feel like I stepped in the dog crap that I purposely left on the lawn for the snotty neighbor to "find". I've never put together a team like this with such a talent discrepancy before that I may just try to ride it out, and pray for no injuries and a lot of complete games. It might be interesting, and what's another $20 credit down the drain?

But more important than that, who's Willie Mac?

I assumed it was one of my favorite players growing up : Willie "Stretch" McCovey #44

Hawk has it right, I'm a huge Giants fan and when I think of #44 I think of McCovey so I figured I'd name this NLD after him. :) 8-)

Well, it's either laugh or cry right???? I'm guessing that if you're willing to scramble after waivers you can salvage this team. It's not like you don't have some talented guys on the team. Plus just take a look at Semper's roster, with a week to tinker, 90% of them will end up on waivers sooner or later. So, just scoop 'em up!!! ;)

So Falcon, it appears that you're going with the "Jekyll and Hyde" team? They are either very good, or very bad. :P

In other action Semper hasn't made nearly enough moves yet, but I guess he's got a week.

I was thinking more of Abbot & Costello, but I suppose Jekyll & Hyde works well too.
